GUILDLINES FOR CHURCH WORKERS.

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.”  Ephesians 5:1-4
Greetings and blessings to you in Jesus Christ name. It is a joy to learn that you have prayerfully considered signing up as a worker/volunteer in the vineyard of the Lord through the RCCG Christ Liberty House. As you labour faithfully in the vineyard of our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that you will reap the rewards of service to Him – Amen.

Service to God and not a denomination.
In RCCG Christ Liberty House, emphasis for service is on an individual's relationship with God, Christ His Word and the Holy Spirit. It is a service to God rather than to a church or denomination. As a result of this, you do not necessarily have to be a card carrying member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God before you can serve God through the RCCG Christ Liberty House.

To decide how many departments one can join at the same time, it will be necessary to be sure that the functional time of duties of the units will not overlap. For example, it will be difficult to be an Usher and/or a Chorister and also be in Engineering and/or Sanitation Unit at the same time. All these units work simultaneously during the service and some of them have their varying mode of dress (uniforms). You are encouraged not to belong to more than two departments.

The RCCG Christ Liberty House recognises three categories of people whose skills and talents could be engaged by the RCCG Christ Liberty House:

Workers - People who are born again and are committed to live by the teachings of the bible. They have gone through the believers', baptismal and workers in training classes within a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God. They can be considered for ministerial roles in the RCCG Christ Liberty House. They are the people who can serve at the altar. They will lead worship, assist in administering Holy Communion and teach the Word of God and lead at public prayer meetings among others. Please see the requirements for being a worker in the RCCG Christ Liberty House.

Volunteers - “Teacher,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.”  “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, for whoever is not against us is for us.
Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward. Luke 9:38-41

Volunteers are people who have chosen to serve God and the community through the RCCG Christ Liberty House. The church will prayerfully engage them and equip them to serve effectively. A volunteer who embraces the gospel and live by the Word of God will progress to being a worker if such an individual wishes to become one. There cannot be any impediment placed on the path of an individual who is truly committed to serve God wholeheartedly. The Lord Jesus Christ declared "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few..." (Luke 10:2)  We challenge every church volunteer to rise and become a worker.

Employees - These are individual with specialized skills required by the church but which are not available as a charitable service. Employees are paid to carry out tasks in the church.
Upon receipt of your application, we will prayerfully consider your interests. The church reserves the right to suggest other areas where you are likely going to be better useful to the goals of the church in the wider community.
